• Phone Numbers: We collect your phone number strictly for account creation, secure authentication via SMS/OTP, and account recovery.
• Names: We collect your name so that the Administrator of your group can accurately identify your ledger and passbook within the app.
• Ledger Data: Information related to your group contributions, shares, and advances entered by the group Administrator.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information collected via our App for a variety of business purposes described below:

• To Facilitate Account Creation and Logon: Your phone number is used as your unique identifier to log into the app securely.
• To Manage User Accounts: We use your information to manage your account and keep it in working order.
• To Enable App Functionality: Your name and ledger data are used to generate digital passbooks, track community contributions, and create PDF reports for your specific group.

Note: ComPay is purely a record-keeping and ledger application. We do not facilitate real-money bank transfers, process live payments, or provide financial lending services.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase cloud infrastructure. We implement standard security measures to protect your personal information:

• Data in Transit: All data transferred between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit.
• Authentication: Access to your personal passbook is protected by Firebase secure phone authentication.
• Data Isolation: Your ledger information is only visible to you and the authorized Administrator(s) of the specific committee or group you have joined.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We only share information with third-party service providers (like Google Firebase) strictly to provide the app's core infrastructure and authentication services.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless otherwise required by law. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time. To request data deletion, please contact your group Administrator to settle your ledger, and contact us using the information below.
